We are expanding our Technical Customer Support team and are looking for a dedicated professional based in India to assist customers and installation teams remotely.

Role Overview

As a Solar PV Administrator, you will play a key role in managing project documentation, coordinating with customers and installation teams, and ensuring smooth administrative processes for solar PV installations. You will assist in regulatory compliance, grant applications, and overall project support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Administration & Coordination – Assist with the end-to-end administrative process of solar PV projects. Coordinate with customers, project managers, and installers to ensure timely project execution. Maintain project records, contracts, and compliance documents.
2. Documentation & Compliance – Prepare and manage regulatory documents, including SEAI (Ireland) and MCS (UK) certifications. Assist customers with grant applications and submission of required paperwork. Ensure all installations meet regulatory and building compliance requirements.
3. Customer & Internal Support – Respond to customer queries regarding project status, documentation, and compliance. Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient scheduling and communication. Support invoicing and warranty-related paperwork.

Requirements

1. Experience: Experience: 1-3 years in administration, coordination, or a similar role (experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is a plus).
2. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
3. Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills for customer and internal communication.
4. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with solar PV installations, SEAI/MCS grant processes, or compliance requirements is beneficial.
5. Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM/project management tools.
6. Remote Work Capability: Ability to work in UK/Ireland hours and manage workload efficiently.

1. Customer Support & Troubleshooting – Assist customers with technical issues related to solar PV systems, inverters, and monitoring platforms. Troubleshoot system performance issues and provide remote diagnostics. Coordinate with on-site teams and installers to resolve technical concerns.
2. Technical Assistance & Documentation – Guide customers through system setup, monitoring, and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and solutions provided. Provide support with warranty claims and liaise with manufacturers for replacements.
3. Collaboration & Coordination – Work closely with installation teams, project managers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in pre-installation technical checks and post-installation system performance reviews. Keep up to date with solar PV technology, installation standards, and industry regulations.

Requirements

1. Experience: 1-3 years in a technical support or customer service role (preferably in the solar energy sector).
2. Technical Skills: Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and monitoring platforms.
3. Communication: Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) for customer interactions.
4. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
5. Remote Work Capability: Ability to work UK/Ireland hours and manage workload efficiently.
6. Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is a plus.

Requirements

3. Strong understanding of solar plant execution, electrical systems, and structural work.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in challenging environments.
5. Willingness to travel and stay at project sites as needed.
